Let me extend and rephrase my questions since I have read a little bit more information in the FAQs.
We are desiring that my phone (7960) would be able to send and receive custom UDP messages which then could be parsed by the phone. I want to be able to make the phone act somewhat stand-alone so that it can take a VoIP call without requiring a network of cisco phones or another outside program. Is it possible to write an application for the phone which is powerful enough to do this?
