Can a 7835 Convergence server, be "ghost" imaged?

I'm attempting to use Ghost 2003 to get a complete system image backup of our newly built CCM 3.3.3 server, which runs on a Cisco 7835 Convergence Server.

I'm trying to Ghost the image off to a USB connected hard drive.

However, the default USB driver that the Ghost boot floppy uses fails to see the USB drive when I attempt to use it on the 7835 server. It works perfectly with every other machine is house.

Do the 7835's have some sort of proprietary USB controller on them (as Compaq is known to do with a number of their components)?

Or is using the CTI backup app, and doing a database backup, Call Manager rebuild and then database restore then only actually supported mechanism for backing up the Call Managers?

Check out the other Ghost related thread... There are a number of ways to dump an image with Ghost. You don't necessarily have to dump to HDD. Network share, even CD are available, though I have never used the CD dump option.

Hope this helps a bit
