can hear ring, but no audio on pickup

Hello,

i am using the softphone, when i dial over vpn i can hear the phone ring but when the user picks up they can hear me but i can't hear them.

any ideas?

One way audio issues could be due to various issues. Check the access-lists for any RTP traffic. Or may be its one of the reasons discussed in the document below:

If that is an XP box; under the LAN adapter properties, on the advanced tab, make sure the firewall is not enabled on your pc or you will have this problem.
