Correction: Actually, you CAN use the NM-HDV and corresponding E1-MFT or T1-MFT card for data as well as voice connections. Ofcourse it is a waste of DSP resources but you can certainly use it to configure a channel-group and send data over the E1 or T1 over the LAN. After you configure your channel-group, it creates a serial interface for you and you can configure encap ppp on that interface and the ip addresses and take it from there.
