Can TCCS work with no VAD between two 2620 routers with 1.54 M of bandwidth
I currently have two 2620 Routers with TCCS workng between them. There are 46 compressed voice channels and 2 Clear channels. When i have VAD on the cross connects it works. The problem is VAD is too aggressive and calls that toll bypassed through this link get aggressive VAD cutoffs etc.
I tried bringing up the TCCS with NO VAD , one HDV t1 comes up 23 channels, +Clear channel,
The other t1 gets about 4 channels up and it dies, the processor goes up to about 95% CPU utilization.

If the CPU slams up it may be more than simple utilization. Issue a show proc cpu and see what is eating resources. Compare memory utilization as well. Could be a bug in a process, and you will want to do a bug scrub to ensure it isnt a known issue. Make sure your bandwidth isn't an issue as well.
The short answer is that you don't.... That isn't entirely true while at
the same time it kind of is, but for the most part you don't configure
the softkeys. You enable or disable them via TCL. Here is the long
answer. Be sure to read the whole thing or e...
