I want to backup the whole CCM server with a backup software named Veritas. Anyone knows if it can work ? I can not test it cause only one CCM server in our office.
Thanks!

The short answer is yes it can work, but it will not be supported by TAC. Take a look at the following link regarding installing backup software on CCM servers. My personal preference is to insall the least amount of software possible on CCM servers. Yes, backing up the entire server could help you recover from a disaster more quickly, but if you're using recommended practices for redundancy like at least 1 publisher and 1 subscriber and RAID, you would not be down even if a server or drive failed. In this case, you could either replace a drive or replace the server and restore from a BARS backup.
