Get the error message that no Domain Account is associated with user.

Also see event viewer error

Gateway: The call to Directory::FindByDomainAndName failed with [0x8004054B] for the NT account: XXX

Gateway: Error [0x8004054B] retrieving mailboxes associated with NT account : XXX

Found one workaround was to restart AvCsGateway and that did not resolve the problem

Unity 3.1(6)

TSP 7.03b

Windows 2K OS

Thanks,

Vince

The place to start here is the troubleshooting guide - there isn't one specifically for 3.1(6) - the 4.0(3) guide is here:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/prod_troubleshooting_guide_book09186a00801ba5cb.html

the sections on SA/PCA access are still relevant and contain some information about why you'd see such an error - the most likely cause of the error you cite would be a problem with the GC/DC in your network not allowing us to authenticate users hitting our web pages - we pass the domain/name and then get a directory ID back from the DC which we then use to look up the user in our database which in turn leads to their COS which tells us if they can open the page or not. The error above indicates the DC is not responding to our request properly for some reason or another.
