CAS T1 Passing ANI MGCP

Greetings,

I am trying to get ANI to pass from a gateway to CRS apps. Configuration is CCM 4.1(3)sr2, 2821 w/2port MFT doing MGCP IOS 12.3-14T5.

I looked at URL http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/iosswrel/ps1834/products_feature_guide09186a008007fe27.html#17692 as a possible option, but my gateway doesn't support e&m-fgb.

I also looked at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/iosswrel/ps5207/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a008020ecf6.html#wp1042209 but when I tried to use e&m-fgd, I received either silence or dialtone and direct-inward-dial didn't help.

Any suggestions would greatly be appriciated.

In order to receive ANI on a T1 CAS circuit you need to use "type e&m-fgd" on the 2821. Unfortunately, fgd isn't supported with MGCP and CallManager.

You will have to configure the router as H.323 to support caller id on a T-1.
