Through implementing LLQ it is evident that policy maps exhibit traffic falling into the fair-queue, instead of the PQ. The only explanation for this, would be because the FIFO / Transmit Ring Entries defaults to 512, and therefore policing comes into effect only when high saturation occurs.
The TX-RING entries obviously requires tuning, therefore I would appreciate your recommendations regarding the number of entries in relation to an 8Mb HSSI circuit, documentation would suggest a value of 16.....
