I have a 6608 configured with 2 x E1 from different carriers, and 2 x 24 port FXS Blade in the same 6509 chassis. Call manager 3.12c running the telephony.
The users are complaining of problems with both outgoing and incoming fax and Modem transport being Unreliable / slow / simply does not work.
I've had problems in the past with local hairpinning on Cat4000 AGM modules where FAX is not transported as it is never converted to IP and Jitter variation on the AGM causes problems but with the 6000 set-up the ports are on seperate blades and therefore the packets have to be converted to IP, therefore Fax Passthrough should operate.
Anybody got any suggestions as to what could be causing the FAX problems.
