Catalyst 5509 and Power Patch panel Support

I have a Catalyst 5509 .Can I use power patch panel to get inline power for IP phones or for access points.

I don't believe the 5000/5500 series supports inline power modules. You would have to go with the 4500 or 6500 series. Not to mention the 5000/5500 series devices are EOL.

Yes, you can use a Catalyst Inline Power Patch Panel to supply power to IP Phones for any Catlyst switch that dosent supply Inline Power through the modules.
