The resource unavailable means, the requested channel or service is

unavailable for an unknown reason.

The problem might be due to a couple of resons.

1. which side disconnect the call with this reason

in which direction.

2. You might be requesting bchannels in ascending while the swicth

is hoping to allocate b-channel in decending manner, hence swicth will reject the cal with

requested channel unavailable.

try using the command "isdn bchan-number-order ascending / decending" to twaek

this and see.

3. The companding type might not be properly matched.

are you sent for A-law or U-law. Verify from the swicth administrator.

4. Are the swicth b-channel set to 56K or 64K. verify this as well and this can be twaeked with the

command.

annc(config-if)#isdn incoming-voice modem ?

56 B Channel Bandwidth of 56Kb/s

64 B Channel Bandwidth of 64Kb/s
