cbwfq problem

Hello

I have a confusion about CBWFQ.

I have a router with one wan port .the port has 128K bandwidth.I configrured two class on this port.one class is for the traffic with ip preceden 5 is allocated 20 K .another class with ip precedence 0 w is allocated 20 k bandwidth too.

when these two classes send more traffic than they are allocated indivually (20K),the exceeding part traffic shall be dealed by the class-default which is configured using FQ.so i want to ask, wheather WFQ shall be applied to the traffic that exceeding the class is allocated? In my case, the class-default shall deal with the 128-20-20=68K bandiwht with WFQ.So the ip precedne shall be concidered as weight in WFQ?

Re: cbwfq problem

The following formula Weight=K/(precedence +1) where K is 32384 is applied to calculate weight in WFQ

Check http://www.cisco.com/warp/customer/105/qos_faq.html#Q12 for more details
