CCM 4.0(2) Translate #'s inbound from PSTN

We're getting a new PRI that is going to deliver 10 digit TFN, and I need to translate it to the ring-to-#, I'm looking for a clever way to do that.

Appreciate any advice.

There are at least a couple of ways to do this.

1. When you setup the PRI in Callmanager, there is a field called Significant Digits. If you have 4 digit extensions that match the last 4 digits of the DID number, you could set this to 4 and CCM would only look at the last 4 digits to route the call.

2. You could also create a translation pattern(s) again depending on whether your DID range matches your extension range. For example, if your DID range is 11122233xx and you have 4 digit extensions that match 33xx, you could create a translation pattern of 11122233xx and make the Called Party Transformation Mask 33xx. This is assuming that the Significant Digits field mentioned above is set to 10 in this case. If your DID range does not match your extension range, then you will need a translation pattern(s) such as a pattern of 111222333x with a Called Party Transformation Mask of 456x.
