CCM 4.1(3) - Update Phone "Span to PC Port" setting via AXL

Hi Guys,

Looking to change this parameter on a bunch of 7941 and 7961 phones.

I originally thought you could use BAT. But BAT doesnt let you change this parameter.

Second thought was to use AXL updatephone method. But this doesnt seem to have the device specific field available to update it.

So I had a look at the SQL Device table. There is an XML field. This field contains all the device specific settings in an XML format.

I can change the values in these strings and it succesfully alters the value.

However I know it is not Cisco supported to do a SQL update directly.

First question, is there a way to change the parameter or device specific config items through AXL?

If not, is there any other supported way of doing this in bulk?

Sorry guys.. think I sussed this.. I am assuming it is the vendorConfig element in the updatePhone method..

Will go and have a try!
