I heard rumours a long time back it was going to be a dual Windows and Linux release...

However I've not heard much about a Windows version since... and I've seen the linux one.

Has Version 5 been released? Also is there any documentation on version 5 that will run on Linux?

I would definately be interested in seeing the SIP capabilities for version 5.0

CCM 5.0 will be Linux only

CCM 5.x / 6.0 will be Windows and Linux

The Linux version will be an Appliance which means you won't get access to the OS, just to the web interfaces.

Since it is an appliance, you have to use the Linux which Cisco provides (redhat) on Cisco provided servers (MCS).

No 3rd party stuff whatsoever on the servers...
