CCM, any way to forwarding the deleted ext. to reception ?

I have a question regards the Call Manger. After one of the user(ext#1111) left company, deleted the extension. In case of somebody dialing to the extension(#1111), the caller get the fast-busy signal. It’ll be normal behavior but I want to know how automatically forwarding to reception for the deleted extension. (I know the alternation that leave the extension and forward all=reception).

Yes you can create a Translation Pattern to do this.

Create a New Translation Pattern and give it the Translation Pattern of 1XXX

Set the Called Party Transform Mask to the DN of your reception desk.

Set the Calling Search Space, do not provide outside tone, and leave the rest as default

Then when some one dials any number that is not in your system they will get the reception desk. In my system I set this to my Voice Mail DN, so if some one dials a number that does not exist in my DID range, or one that I have deleted, they get my voice mail welcome greeting.
