CCM as part of a Win2000 AD domain.

Is there any reason for the CCM system to not become a member server of the Enterprise domain? Centrallized management is a beautiful thing...

This should be fine.

I would suggest that you uncheck the box in the network identification under More that says:

Change primary DNS suffix when domain membership changes

Also make sure the primary DNS suffix is blank already. After this and a reboot, you should be able to make it a member server without any problems.
