CCM ISDN Plan Type setting in Mainland Europe

Hi,

Using CCM4.1(3)sr2 w/ MGCP gateway.

My CLID is not being presented from 2 sites in Europe - although a debug isdn q931 shows me presenting the correct information to the telco:-

Mar 27 09:03:41: ISDN Se0/0/0:15 Q931: TX -> SETUP pd = 8 callref = 0x0AE3

Sending Complete

Bearer Capability i = 0x8090A3

Standard = CCITT

Transer Capability = Speech

Transfer Mode = Circuit

Transfer Rate = 64 kbit/s

Channel ID i = 0xA9839D

Exclusive, Channel 29

Calling Party Number i = 0x0081, '33140000566'

Plan:Unknown, Type:Unknown

Called Party Number i = 0x80, '8670039649'

Plan:Unknown, Type:Unknown

I believe I need to set my ISDN plan type. Which type should I use ?

TIA,

Paul.

On the GW on CCMAdmin you need to setup the type of the call, if it is internation, national, etc. Also you need to ask your telco the exact information that they need. because sometimes the telco does not process the Unknown type. Other times I have seen problems when sending the "International" type because telco adds more digits, so you need to know exactly what they need so you can put that configuration in CCMAdmin (GW)

Thanks for that !

France Telecom are saying they do not know this information.

Since my gateway allows calls to both National & International destinations which should I set on the gateway - can this be over-ridden at Route Pattern level ?

Thanks again,

Paul.
