According to the Information I have, it should be possible to send traces output to a remotely shared mounted drive, but I have not been able to get this to work.
Tracing to local c: drive works OK, and I know I have properly configured the remote drive (Im using samba from a Linux server) because I use this same drive to save my backups collected with BARS and they save properly. The only different is that with BARS, you have to enter the shared drive mount point (\\serverName\User) and with tracing, you enter the drive letter of the already mounted drive.
It seems that Im missing something, but Im going in circles without finding an answer.
Any information on how to get this going would be highly appreciated.
