CCM won't register IP Phone

Hi I'm running CCM4.0(2a)sr2a. When I attempt to register any phones(7960) After the phone goes thru VLan Config etc.. I end up with Registration Rejected and it just hangs there? Can anyone help me?

Do you have your CCM server setup for auto registration? Did you preconfigure your phone in CCM before booting? I ran into this problem recently and found I hadn't turned on auto registration on my cluster. I set it to 25 extensions. Then I just search for the extension and make any necessary changes. Just remember to nuke the UnassignedDNs every now and then, so you don't use them all up.

Couple of things you can check:

1) MAC address is correct in CCM.

2) DHCP is setup correctly with correct options(tftp service, gateway, etc). Make sure your phone is getting an IP address with correct parameters.

For further investigation, enable trace on CCM and debugs on switch/router, if needed.

Thanks I had a corrupt Database and a few other things wrong, but all is well now.
