CCME 3.1 and remote ip-phone 7912

I got a problem.

Remote phone 7912 (from other subnet, at a distance of 4 hops to CMME) downloads config-file from tftp-server, but does not initiate registration.

Now how it looks like in depth:

On downloading a config-file, the phone writes a CCME-address as "CallManager 1" adress (it is seen in phone menu), but doesn't even try to register on it. None of tcp-packets towards CCME go from phone (while the phone display indicates "Opening ip_address_ccme"). After several such iterations the phone forwards a tcp-packet at "CallManager 2 SRST" address for registration purposes. "CallManager 2 SRST" address is the same as default-gateway address (Really I have no CallManager 2 SRST, so the phone got no answer). After that approximately one time in seven minutes the phone proceeds with sending a tcp-packet at "CallManager 2 SRST" address.

How can I force the phone to register on CCME?

You are hitting the defect identified by CSCed53048. Try the suggested workaround.
