CCME 4.0 / AIM-CUE 2.3.2

All-

I've just received a 2811 with the AIM-CUE module. I've loaded CCME 4.0 for 12.4(9)T1 and performed a boot helper upgrade on the CUE module to 2.3.2.

I'm now trying to access the CUE GUI to perform the basic initialization. I've added the web admin system name and password command to the telephony-service configuration. I also provided the admin name and password to the CUE setup during the upgrade.

However when I try to access the CUE GUI and it asks for the admin username/password I get an error that access the CME failed.

I am at a loss for what I am missing in the configuration. Any suggestions?

You should be using the CUE admin (not the CME admin) username and password (which you can look up the username if you forgot the username, via a show run in the CUE).

Oddly enough, and for the sake of simplicity...the combinations are the same.

I'm going to try to get to the device this afternoon so I can post more detailed information.

Open your browser and enter http://a.b.c.d, where a.b.c.d is the IP address of the CUE module.

Make sure you have the following commands in the IOS config:

ip http server

ip http authentication local

no ip http secure-server

ip http path flash:

!

Give those a try.

Okay - I've committed a sin, but have since made the popping sound.

I forgot that I had an access list bound to the http interface of CCME which did not include the voice subnet. Fixed that and the init wizard worked just fine.

Sorry fellas - I'll probably be back on some integration wierdness in the not to distant future. This system will ultimately be installed on a emergency communications vehicle with various PSTN access trunks (2 tellular, 4 SIP (via satellite), and 2 Sat Phones).

This will no doubt cause me to rely upon some of you for keeping my mind right. I know in advance that the sat phones are going to require a # be appended to the end of the dialed digit string, they're going to want to prioritize the outbound trunks based on cost, the SIP trunks will only be available when the big dish is up and active, we're likely going to need to use the B-ACD (I've never done scripting before), and the users are going to be generic group names.

Does anyone have a sample config from the IPICS solution set? That will probably most closely resemble what we're doing minus the LMR-over-IP.
