CCME -- 7961 with the 7914

Hello --

I'm having problems getting the 7914 working with the 7961 on the CCME, I'm using load S00103020003.bin for the 7914 and TERM41.7-0-3-0S for the 7961. The 7961 works fine, but the 7914 refuses to load ( all red buttons ). In the GUI I see all of the Speedial lines 1 - 20, and I can edit them at will, but it makes no difference.

Any ideas?

Nevermind, problem corrected, I didnt do the create CNF files command under telephony-service, I'll be doing some reading tonight as to what that commnand does.

I have the same problem but with 7970G ip phone. The 7970G works fine but the extension doesn't work. (all leds are red).

Try this:

config t

telephony-service

create cnf-files

From there, as long as you have the images for the 70 and 14 on the tftp server, the sidecar should come up. Also ensure that you type in 'type 7970 addon 1 7914' under the ephone configuration.

Please let me know what version of CCME do you use?

I have such problem with 3.2 version and I think

there is only one solution in my case: upgrade CCME to later version.

I use version 4.0.1, I believe that you need at least 4.0 for the 7941, and also ensure that you have the 7941 image.
