We have CUE 2.3 and CCME 4.0 running on IOS 12.4(9)T. This is a two-site distributed network, with CUE & CCME co-resident on a 2800 series ISR at each site.
We are trying to set our system up so that callers that reach CUE AA can enter an extension number for a user at either site and have the AA transfer the call appropriately.
For example, caller dials the PSTN and reaches the AA at Site A and enters an extension or does a dial-by-name for a user at Site B. We would like for the call to be transferred to Site B.
We are able to make on-net VoIP calls from Site A to Site B and from Site B to Site A. Calls are successful either when the extension owner answers the call or if the call goes to voice mail. Works fine either way.
Our WAN dial-peers use the G729A codec and we have DSP resources configured to do transcoding. All this seems to work fine for calls that are transferred by a person, but does not work when the call is transferred by the AA.
We have transfer-system full-consult set up under telephony services on both ends.
We also have voice mail networking set up and it is possible to dial the voice mail pilot number at one site and leave a message for a user at another site.
In addition to setting up network locations in CUE, we have also set up remote usernames in CUE at each end for users at the other site.
When we try to use the AA to transfer calls to the other site, the AA attempts to do the transfer, but the call goes dead after a couple of seconds.
If anyone has suggestions or could point me to documentation that covers this type of scenario, I would be grateful.
The short answer is that you don't.... That isn't entirely true while at
the same time it kind of is, but for the most part you don't configure
the softkeys. You enable or disable them via TCL. Here is the long
answer. Be sure to read the whole thing or e...
