CCME, forward problem - Chance to change original CLI

Hi all

I have problems with CCME forwarding. When I forward my phone to an external number (e.g. mobile phone). When call is forwarded, calls are going to my ISP with original calling number. In these cases my ISP doesnt know this number and is not able to accounting these calls, so these calls are discarted. Is there some way how to change original CLI for my numbers (numbers from my ISP)on my CCME router?? In these case, ISP will know my numbers and everything will be OK :o)

Thanks MIroslav

To resolve this issue, perform these steps:

* Locate the route pattern that is used for this phone when dialing out.

* Under Calling Party Transformations, select the Use Calling Party's External Phone Number Mask box. This is the only prerequisite to display the desired caller ID.

Hi

Could you send configuration of your router? Are you using dialplan-pattern to translate internal numbers to DDI (PSTN) numbers?

Re: CCME, forward problem - Chance to change original CLI

Hi

Try to do that using voice translation-rules, voice translation-profile, etc.:

voice translation-rule 777

rule 1 /1\(..\)/ /2260066\1/

!

voice translation-profile 777

translate calling 777

!

dial-peer voice 999

translation-profile outgoing 777

!

You can check if translation rule is working correctly using "test voice translation-rule 777 127" in priviledge mode...

Re: CCME, forward problem - Chance to change original CLI

Hi Wojtek

Your solution is fine and working, BUT is not what I exactly need. Using translation rulers is OK. Translate inside numbers (using your way) no problem. BUT translate calling numbers fro outside to numbers from my pool? I have idea e.g.

voice translation-rule 777

rule 1 /^2260066\(.*\)/ /2260066\1/

rule 2 /.*/ /2260066XY/

PROBLEM IS that all redirected calls will be masked with the same number (2260066XY). I am looking for solution where redirected calls will be masked to calling number of phone, where user used "CallForward".

Is it clear? Sorry for my English :o)

Thank for your solicitude.

Re: CCME, forward problem - Chance to change original CLI

Hi Miroslav

Yes, its clear for me.

I was sure, that this redirected calls are with CLID of the phone on which user configured CFA...

In my opinion you should open a TAC case, but as a temporary work around use:

voice translation-rule 777

rule 1 /^2260066\(.*\)/ /2260066\1/

rule 2 /\(.*\)/ /2260066XY/

Regards

Wojtek

PS. Where are you from Slovakia or Chech republic?
