CCME waits until it recieves three rings to ring an extension
I have a CCME on a 2801 platform and 2 vic2-4fxo's in place. I have verified that the caller hears two to three rings before the CCME rings the station causing the caller to sometimes hears 5 to 6 rings before being answered. I have also verified that the CCME recieves ring at the start of the ring cycle which is on the first ring the caller hears. For some reason the CCME is delaying the ring to the phone. Any one have any ideas? Can configuration cause this issue?

The router is attempting to gather CID from the inbound call. You can shorten the number of rings using: 'caller-id alerting ring 1-4' under the voice-port. Note that shortening to much may result in not getting CID from the analog lines.
