CCMUser password

We are working on an in house application and would like to sychnronize the user password of the application with the CCMUser password.

We are unable to retrieve the password value using the AXL getUser method.

Has anyone been able to retreive the user password? If yes, then how? Is there a field or table in SQL that might contain the CCMusers password?

I researched this subject a year or two ago, and believe there is no way to retrieve the password or pin from the user directory, but if you find a way, please let us know. user details are not stored in the SQL tables.

I understand that the inability to retrieve passwords is a deliberate security feature.
