CDR with ART/CAR

I have been using CAR to pull reports from the CDR DB for the last couple months, and have been disappointed with the results.

I find it hard to understand why a simple report containing calling number, called number, time stamp and duration, of incoming and outgoing calls cannot be retrieved from ART.

Has anyone found ART particularly useful? What is anyone else using in it's place?

It's true, Cisco CDR reporting is awful. What else do you expect from a free tool. Personally I use SQL queries to pull data from CDR database. http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_tech_note09186a00801d71c5.shtml

If you need nicely formatted reports you need a 3rd party utility.

Thanks for this link. My problem with pulling the data from the SQL table has always been the timestamp. This helps a lot.
