centralized call processing with MOH and Auto Attendant

hello,

I have a centralized call processing environment

running CM 3.2. MOH and Auto Attendant does not work

on the remote site using G.729

If I change codec of remote site to G.711 it works.

Does MOH and Auto Attendant only run on g.711 ?

MOH can run both codecs, this is probably down to the settings on your MOH server.

Auto attendant can only run G.711.

Hello Paul,

If I use a "Transcoder" could the Auto Attendant work ? MOH works now.

Yes, a HW transcoder will do the trick.

For the MoH problem, in ccmadmin goto the Service Paramaters for the IP Voice Media Streaming app. At the bottom of the page there is a list of codecs, make sure g.729 and g.711 are highlighted.

Thanks for the info. I actually did this before but

it failed to work. I rebooted the server and now it works.
