CFA to external number doesn't work

Dear all,

Here is my descripton due to problem with CFA feature:

1.

a) Two IP-Phones with single dn on each: 1st dn is 101, 2nd dn is 102

b) Single route pattern for calls to external pstn network

c) No partitions or css configuration is used, i.e.

* route pattern has "None" partition and css assigned

* both directory numbers have "None" partition and css assigned

2.

When user 101 dials external number 102, call is establieshed normally

When user 101 dials external number 5551212, call is establieshed normally

When I set CFA number

-or through CCMUser interface

-or through CCMAdmin interface

to 5551212 for 102, and 101 dials 102 then, call fails with prompt

"your call cannot be completed and dialed" as it occurs, when call manager

can't find appropriate pattern to route the call.

You ideas would be greatly appreciate.

Just one doubt.

Are you attaching the leading zeroes (or whatever is the access code) correctly.

Also can you dial external numbers from 102

*

Route pattern to OffNet gateway is 555!# with DDI "Trailing-#"

and without any calling/called party number transformation on

route pattern or route group. Thus I don't use any leading digits.

*

Yes, both 101 and 102 can dial 5551212.

*

want to note, the problem is actual also when using

AbbrDial & SpeedDial

I mean, if I define external number, for example 5553434, and assign

it to AbbrDial digit code or simply speed dial, the result is the same

problem, the same symptomatology: "your call cannot be completed and dialed"...

Guys, any ideas ?

Denis,

I tested this, with the exception of my call forward number and my speed dial/abbrdial number I put a # at the end of the number I pluged in. Example speed dial 99 = 5551212#. Since you said your pattern was 555!#, I accounted for this. You have done the same in your testing, correct?

Otherwise post your CCM version, Gateway type and IP phone firmware so we can get some more insight.

Thanks
