change "unknown number" to "withheld number"

Hi,

For an incoming call from the PSTN to an IP phone, if the CLID is withheld, the IP phone shows "unknown number"

Is there a way to change this to show "Withheld number"?

I've tried under CCM service parameters - Advanced there are 2 options:

Clusterwide Parameters (Device - General)

1) Unknown Caller ID

2) Unknown Caller ID Text

Both are used to provide CLID if the incoming call has a null value for CLID (Text or Number).

The behaviour seems to be that both values will be used at all times.

IE

we set a text value in "Unknown Caller ID Text = Withheld Number" and leave "Unknown Caller ID" blank.

We then make an incoming call, and do not provide a numberical CLI, and withheld number is shown as expected.

But, if we make a call with a CLI, then withheld number and the CLI are shown together.

Is this behaviour expected?

Are there any other ways to achive this?

Thanks,

Ray
