Changing An Exchange Alias

We use unity 3.1 with exchange 2k. Is there any way or any tool you can use when you want or need to change a persons AD alias/exchange alias without having to delete their current information and then import the new, causing lost messages if they had any and the need to completely re-enroll in unity?

The other thing you can do is create a new user/mailbox and use the Migrate Subscriber Data utility to 'transfer' the Unity account from the original user's account over to the new one:
