I've been trying to change the interval with which an IP Phone would broadcast the CDP Packets (7912, 7940 and 7960's are the ones that interest me). I tried using SNMP to change the CDP interval on the Call Manager, but that didn't seem to affect the phones(only the Call Manager got affected). So, the question is, is there a way to reduce the CDP Broadcast interval on an IP Phone? If it it possible, how do you do it?
