Changing codec on cme

I have 2 cisco 7940 ip phones, connected to a router running cme 3.4. I want to change the codec used when having a conversation between the 2 phones. How do i do that?

with cme 3.4 no way to change the codec between ip phones. you can do that with cme 4.0.
