Changing mac addresses of VOIP phones

Hi,

I have currently got a problem with approx 300 voip phones running on CM 3.1.2 cluster. They were initially installed using a bar code scanner and BAT which unfortunately added all the phone's mac address's in lower case (which didn't seem to be a problem at the time). We are now using some spanlink software which has a problem with this so they all need to be changed.

So, is there a 'easy' way off changing all of the mac addresses of the phones to uppercase (possibly with bat ????, exporting it out, modifying the csv and importing it back in again ?). The other way would be going through each phone one by one (not much fun at all !).

Cheers,

If you have not lost the original file which you used for exporting into CM using BAT, you could modify it and upload it back.

For various procedures of BAT please check the URL below

im asking this out of curiosity. can't we just change the name field values in the Table directly?
