I am trying to come up with a procedure to migrate user accounts on a Unity 4.0.3 system from one Active Directory user/mailbox to another.
The goal is to create a new AD user account for each user that is just for voicemail, and then move their Unity account to point to that new user account. As part of this, we hope to maintain existing greetings and other user-specific settings. Is it possible to copy existing AD accounts to keep this extra Unity-specific information the same between the old and new account?
To add an extra twist to this scenario, the CallManager cluster is ALSO AD integrated, and the extension for each user was added to the AD information manually to support Attendant Console's database.
Hope someone has some insight on this.
