Channel group with t1 CAS & mgcp

Hi,

I have a T1 CAS circuit and 1 PRI with DID's. I am looking for outbound calls to use the first 6 channels on the T1 CAS then go to the PRI circuit, then use the remaining channels on the T1 CAS. Both circuits are in the same 3725 mgcp gateway. I am running CM 3.3.2.

Is this possible?

Thanks

Frank

Re: Channel group with t1 CAS & mgcp

Yes it is. To do this create a route group. Add first 6 ports of T1-CAS one by one with order 1. Then add T1-PRI with order 2 and then add rest of T1-CAS ports one by one with order 3. Use this route group in a route list, that is used by outgoing route patterns.

One more little thing, on router, you should create two separate DS0-groups 1-6 & 7-24 on your T1-CAS circuit.
