Cisco 3600 FXO to Cisco 2600 FXS port maping

Hai,

We are trying a setup, on one end we have a cisco 3600 with 2 fxo ports connected to trunk line and other side we have a 2 fxs ports which are connected to phone instruments. We were able to configure for the incoming calls for one to one mapping, i.e If call lands on cisco 3600 port 1 it will be routed to 2600 port 1, if call lands on the port 2 it is mapped to port 2 of 2600 router.

But when we are trying to make out going calls from 2600 router it is picking up randomly on the cisco 3600 router, But we want port 1 should use port 1.

Can any body help me out.

Thanks in advance and regards

Sounds like you should be using the connection trunk commands. See this URL:
