I have some Cisco 7941 phones, which are stuck in upgrade screen. Can someone help me in solving this problem. The tftp server seems to be fine. Connected other working phones to the same port and they are booting fine.
Is there any recovery procedure or the only option is RMA?
I had a similar issue with a 7941 and it cleared up after I unplugged the cable, # key pressed, plugged the cable back in with the # key pressed. I was about to use the key sequence that is used with 7960s and 40s to factory reset the phone, but didnt have to. Magically it worked.

The below trick might come handy when you have to add a new node to a cluster but you don't have or is unsure of the security password for the publisher. This procedure has been around for ages.
1) Login into the CLI of the Publisher.
