Cisco 7960 phone

I have a end user that is using a 7960 phone and the issue is that there is a "you have voicemail" on the screen but there are no voicemails in is voicemail box and the prompt wont go away. how can I fix this?

BUGs, use the BUG tool (CCO required). Anyway there is no workaround for your Bug. Try deleting the user/phone from CCMAdmin and recreate it.

Have you tried dialling your configured MWI off DN?
