Cisco CM not using recommended H.245 port numbers

Cisco CM is not adhering the recommended port numbers for H.245 being TCP port numbers 11000-11999. If Cisco is compliant to the standards why not following these standards as well.

IF Cisco is not following these standards how can be setup security and QoS in a proper way if we don't know the port numbers used in these H.245 conversations.

Also the gossip is around that some Cisco IOS is also using port numbers 11000 up to 65K.

Can someone clarify this why Cisco is not using the standards and how to resolve the QoS and security problem?

Re: Cisco CM not using recommended H.245 port numbers

Since a TAC case has been opened for this (C387929) and the engineer submitted a DDTS on this issue -- CSCdw83604 -- I won't bother to try to answer this here. Let us know what you find out.
