Cisco failed to update schema...?

I was doing a new installation of Unity 3.1(5) and had gotten through almost all of the steps. I had just run Unity Setup and was about to run the Configuration Wizard. After being prompted and selection Exchange 2000 as the Message store (Unity and Exchange are on the same box), I get an error message saying that "Cisco has failed to update the schema".

I am assuming that something went wrong with the AD install but I got no errors in the application log. Do I need to edit my registry settings? Has anyone come across this message before?

You need to run the schema update utility before running the setup... did you do this?
