Cisco IP Phone 7970 is registering continuously....

Dear Sir,

We have an issue while we were adding a Cisco IP Phone 7970 to a Centralized CCM at our Client.

BACKGROUND:

The CCM Server is working properly. All the IP Phones are working properly. We added many IP Phones of different models which include 7960, 7912, 7910. But the problem occurred with the 7970 IP Phone.

PROBLEM:

The problem is that while we were adding an IP Phone 7970 using DHCP, the phone picks the IP but it continuously goes on registering, but does not register with CCM.

(The other IP phones are working fine which includes 7960, 7912, 7910. All of them are working perfectly.

I have added the IP Phone 7970 with its MAC Address and have given it a DN in CCM.)

I also check it by giving static IP to the phone and then manually gave it TFTP Server’s IP but still it does not register with CCM.

I tried the same method with two to three new 7970 IP Phones, but same thing happened.

We also update the firmware but still no change.

Please mail me some solution? Its urgent

Take a look at the following document:

You might try recreating the configuration file.
