Cisco multi-buttons phones are expensive - they know your nees and charge accordingly.

Try the 6945 for multiple lines/buttons at a more reasonable price.

Cisco IP Phone "Line Appearance" - 7962G

Hey, I read the comparison between the 6945 and 7962G:

Given the requirement that I need 4 line keys (fixed and some programmable), my understanding the difference between the 7962G is that it can deliver better speaker (wideband) sound quality and it has a nicer display. If I understand right the 6945 can even support SIP and SCCP, as it does the 7962G.

The comparison matrix does not list requirements regarding Conference calling... I am wondering if there is a substantial need.

Indeed it seems the 6945 is the way to go...

you can use any 796X series phones (including the 7961).  you can even try a 7960 but the phone is very old though.
