Cisco MTP Resources

Hi All

I wanted to know can someone help me with  a problem I'm having at work. We are  curretnly using a Sonexis conference bridge and we have

96 ports avaible and we have 72 MTPS available because of the 3 CM we have which give you 24 per CM. I wanted to know is there some type of

software that I can buy that will give us additional MTP.I've seen some people saying that you can  use a router as an added MTP server but if I do

that is there anything special I need to do to the router. Thanks in advance for the help and have a great day.

Yes, you need to install the relevant PVDM for dsp resources on the router then assign the DSP profile to be MTP and have it register to Call Manager.  Then you can assign the resource to the MRGL.

You can have SW MTP on IOS without needing DSPs as well.
