Cisco Router 1750 or 2610 or other Voice Gateway can to use strip digit ..

I have problem at Cisco Voice Gateway.

Use command about dial-peer voice 1 voip.

but I can't use strip digit command.

maybe Cisco Voice Gateway not support or..

have anybody can teach me.. how to use strip digit.

example:

dial-peer voice 1 voip

destination-pattern 1408......

session target ras

I want strip one digit,

when I dial 14085261111, can be strip to

4085261111.

Hi,

cisco gateways support digit strip by default. In your case, for voip dial peer 1, digits 1408 will be stripped. What you can do is add prefix 408, so what will happen is that 1408 will be stripped and 408 will be added.

Are you sure, use dial-peer voip can be strip.

can you give me a sample config.

because I can't do that.

Could you make use of number expansion?

num-exp 1408.... 408....

dial-peer voice 1 voip

destination-pattern 408....

session-target ras

...

Hi,

digit strip is only executable on the pots dial-peer.

All digits on the on the Voip dial-peer will transmitted. Use number-expansion.
