Cisco Unity 4.0 (2) Installation fails

The Cisco Unity 4.0 (2) Installation fails with error (The ordinal 2074 could not be located in the dynamic link library MFC42u.dll). Any clue what is triggering this and how to eliminate it.

The server on which the installation is attempted is loaded with Windows 2000 SP3 and required hotfixes, MSDE 2K SP3, msxml3SP1, IE 6 SP1. Permisions wizard was run and it went through properly. The installation is attempted using the Domain administrator account through Add/Remove Programs (since Terminal Services in installed).

The version of MFC42u.dll file is 6.0.8665.0

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by the "installation is attempted through add/remove programs" there - are you installing through TS? Do you get the same error installing locally?

When we try to install locally, it prompts us to do the installation through Add/Remove Programs, since Terminal Services is installed.
