Cisco Unity Voice Mail and ITS

Hi All,

I have question regarding to the integrating Cisco ITS router and Cisco Unity Voice Mail. In Cisco ITS, it only supports up to 24 or 48 phones, depending on the router platform we use. Let say I use its which only supports up to 24 phones and i want to have voice mail as well for each phones that means I only have 12 phones because each voice mail will take one phone on the ITS router. So I can only have up to 12 phones + 12 voice mail for each users. Am I correct ?

Please give your comments and feedbacks...

thanks a lot

Re: Cisco Unity Voice Mail and ITS

If you're using ITS and only have enough memory for 24 phones, why would you waste half of your phones on voice mail ports? For an installation that small, the most ports you'd ever need would be four ports. In fact, you can try using just two ephones to register two vm ports if you need the extra ephones for users, but at that point it'd be easier for you to just upgrade the router with enough memory to let you use 48 ephones.
