Please can you advise on the reason for the VG 248 units not being able to pass data faster than approx 33.6K.It also appears to have issues when using to connect with particular types of modems.Has anyone experienced this?
I have seen modems failing connecting to vg248 and it depends on many factors...one of the modems having issues with vg248 is US Robotics modem....but again I have even seen it work sometimes..also, there are many settings on vg248 to fine tune...
If you explain to me more in detail as to what the problem is then I might be able to assist you..
Found that it was helping with high speed faxes, so maybe for your modem traffic too.
